Jeff Thompson brings decades of leadership in innovation, economic development, and community service. He has served on boards such as Science East, Knowledge Park Inc., the Greater Fredericton Community Economic Development Agency, Ignite, and HotSpot Parking — a Fredericton startup now operating across North America. Jeff is also an angel investor and a mentor to many local entrepreneurs, helping build the next generation of community-minded business leaders.
A dedicated community volunteer, Jeff supports the Fredericton Community Kitchens, Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, and is a member of the Fredericton Marathon Organizing Committee. In recognition of his service, Jeff was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal for outstanding contributions to New Brunswick’s COVID-19 pandemic response.
Jeff is running to represent Ward 10 with a focus on transparency, smart growth, housing, fiscal responsibility, and a more livable, connected Fredericton. He believes in open dialogue, practical solutions, and working together to move our city forward.
